Tubular Skylights (I.E. Suntunnel) are a green alternative to traditional lighting. They are perfect for small rooms like laundry, hallways, stairways and bathrooms.

One tubular skylight can replace up to 500 watts of traditional lighting for up to 7 hours a day. A 10 inch unit, shown in picture on left, can provide about 100 square feet of light and a 13 inch unit can provide about 200 to 250 square feet of light.

If it gets too bright, some offer dimmer controls. Some tubular skylights can be fitted with light bulb ( standard, fluorescent, L.E.D.) for use at night.
